VANCOUVER - We wish to bid a fond farewell to Martin Cronin who will be leaving his current position as British Consul for British Columbia, Alberta and the Yukon on July 9.

In a recent conversation with The Celtic Connection, Martin said he that while he will be leaving his current posting in Vancouver, he will not be going very far. He and his wife Kyla are expecting their first child and they have decided to remain in British Columbia. Martin said that he has decided to take a career break and they will be taking up residence in Kelowna, B.C.

Both Martin and Kyla were active in the local community and they will be missed at the various events which they supported.

The new British Consul will be Alex Budden who will be arriving from Nairobi, Kenya.
